How long it takes and the best time of year in Vancouver
The installation of roman shades typically takes one to two days, depending on the size of the window and the complexity of the design. In Vancouver, the best time to schedule a job is during the warmer months, from late spring to early fall. This avoids the challenges of working in wet weather, which can delay the project and affect the quality of the installation. During the winter months, the damp and cold conditions may make it more difficult for contractors to work efficiently. Choosing a time when the weather is more predictable ensures a smoother and more efficient process.
Signs it is time to act and what happens if you wait
There are several signs that indicate it's time to replace or install roman shades in Vancouver. If your current shades are damaged, stained, or no longer fit the window, it's a clear signal that action is needed. Additionally, if your windows are drafty or not providing adequate light control, it's a good idea to consider a new solution. Waiting too long can lead to more extensive issues, such as further damage to the window frame or increased energy costs due to poor insulation. Addressing these concerns promptly helps maintain the comfort and appearance of your home.
